ഈ വര്‍ഷത്തെ അഖിലേന്ത്യ പ്രീ-മെഡിക്കല്‍ പ്രവേശന പരീക്ഷയില്‍ രണ്ടാം റാങ്കും,സംസ്ഥാന മെഡിക്കല്‍ പ്രവേശന പരീക്ഷയില്‍ അഞ്ചാം റാങ്കും നേടിയ, കണ്ണൂര്‍ കടലായി 'ദീപ്തിയില്‍' ദിപിന് സുധാകരന് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം നിറഞ്ഞ ആശംസകള്‍. സാരഥി-കുവൈറ്റ്‌ ഫാഹേല്‍ യൂണിറ്റിലെ അംഗം ശ്രീ. സുധാകരന്-ജയ പ്രതിഭ ദമ്പതികളുടെ ഇളയ പുത്രനാണ് ദിപിന് സുധാകരന്.

Dipin's happiness after the announcement of the results knew no bounds as he told that his hard work and total focus on his preparation for the examination over the last one year yielded fruit. He scored 450 marks out of 480 in the exam. He has already decided the medical college he would join for his studies.
“I will opt the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry,” he said adding that he was choosing it because it was one of the best medical colleges in South India.
Dipin from ‘Deepthi House' at Kuruva here spent a year after completing his Plus Two for preparing for the all India pre-medical test.
A top-scorer in his school examinations, he suspended all his other hobbies, including TV watching and playing cricket, for concentrating on the preparation, for which he joined a Thrissur-based coaching centre.
A student of St. Michael's Anglo-Indian Boys' Higher Secondary School here till the SSLC examination, Dipin joined Chinmaya Vidyalaya at Chala here for the Plus Two course under the CBSE.
He got A+ for all subjects in the SSLC examination and secure 92 per cent for the Plus Two examination.
“I never expected I would get the top rank, though I was confident of scoring high marks in the all-India examination,” 19-year-old Dipin told The Hindu.
In the State medical entrance examination in 2009, his rank was 1,853. He then decided to prepare for the all-India entrance examination for one year and strictly followed a time-table for the studies.
Introduction of objective-type question paper for the final examination from this year was also helpful, he said
His parents, Jaya Pratibha, house wife, and K. Sudhakaran, who had been working in Kuwait for over 30 years and was back home a day before the announcement of the results, said that Dipin needed no prompting from them for preparing for examinations.
Their eldest daughter, Deepthi, was studying for M.Sc. Biotechnology in Bangalore.
