EDUCATIONAL & CHARITABLE TRUST OF SARADHI KUWAIT-Launching Project
- Head Office & Saradhi Center of Excellence is the first of the several educational and professional training projects targeted to be implem
ented by the Educational & Charitable Trust of Saradhi Kuwait (‘Saradhi Trust’ for short) [viz., one project in each Taluk of Kerala is the broader objective].
- Head Office & Saradhi Center of Excellence is intended to be a state-of-the-art office-cum-academic complex dedicated for professional and career advancement of dependents of Saradhi members and the budding youngsters of society.
- Professional guidance and training is one of the main objectives of Saradhi Center of Excellence.
- Saradhi Center of Excellence is aiming to provide the requisite finishing and carrier guidance / coaching facilities and to enable access to suitable short-term professional training modules in selected professional and technical streams for the target group of youngsters to ensure their upliftment and career advancement.
- The proposed Head Office & Saradhi Center of Excellence is intended to facilitate comprehensive reference meterials, academic resources and an ideal environment and ambiance for job oriented learning and personality development with career objectives.
Project Capital & Demography
- One Acre of plain-land is identified in central Kerala in Kottayam District in close proximity to rail-road communication links to ensure access to all members of Saradhi Trust. Negotiations are already on for its purchase.
- Estimated aggregate cost (including land value and construction cost) for the identified plot and the proposed Head Office & Saradhi Center of Excellence will be 75-85 lakhs.
- Operational cost of academic resources for Saradhi Center of Excellence are not included in the above projection.
Formation of Project-Fund /Resource Mobilisation: A Modes-Operandi
- Massive time-bound membership campaign viz., Registration of all remaining members of Saradhi-Kuwait as members of Saradhi Trust;
- Voluntary Contribution from members and well-wishers (Cheque drawn in the name of "Educational and Charitable Trust of Saradhi Kuwait" - for the time-being in Indian Rupees);
- Sizeable and significant donation which implies INR 1 lakh and more.
- Organizing Paid programme for cultural-music-entertainments of leading celebrities.
- Transfer of funds from Saradhi Kuwait as decided by Saradhi Kuwait Executive Committee.

RESOLUTION ON ONAM-08 & CHATAYAM
Hawalli Unit-Resolution No.2-Dated 22.04.2008
THE UNIT MEETING HELD ON 28TH MARCH 2008 AT HAWALLI RESOLVED TO PRESENT THE FOLLOWING BEFORE THE CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:
That the ‘Chathayam & Annual-Day of Saradhi-Kuwait’ and Onam celebration 2008 may be conducted as two events:
(1) Onam Day Celebration of Saradhi Kuwait
· ‘Onam-2008’ may be celebrated as Mega Programme with Celebrity-Entertainments from Kerala. This Mega Programme may be made open for all and sundry irrespective of Saradhi or Non-Saradhi segregations.
· Onam-Sadhya or any other food item (vegetarian or non-vegetarian), water and soft-drinks may be provided on payment through private stalls, preferably of the Saradhi associates, in the vicinity of the venue on spot payment.
· Final draw of Raffle coupon sales (if any) may be conducted during this occasion
· Attractive and standard Raffle Prizes (of article worth 500-700 KDs) may include in the prize category to gain more people’ attraction.
N.B To get a Sponsors for the Mega Programme, it would be appropriate to name the Mega Program in the popular title as "Onam Celebration 2008 of Saradhi-Kuwait" rather than Annual day or Chathayam day.
Onam-Sadhya on the Mega Programme day may not be successful as we have enough past experiences.
(2) Chathayam and Annual day Celebration of Saradhi-Kuwait and Onam Sadhya
· Onam-Sadhya may be arranged along with Chathayam and Annual day Celebration exclusively for the Saradhi members and their families. This arrangement may reduce the overcrowding in Onam Sadhya an issue which Saradhi is unable to resolve since its inception.
· Cultural programmes by the Saradhi members may be presented during the Chathayam and Annual Celebration Day so that the talented personnel and children of Saradhi members will get adequate opportunity and good platform.

Hawalli Unit Get-Together 2008
The Hawalli Unit of M/s. Saradhi-Kuwait has conducted its annual "Get-Together 2008" at High Dine Restaurant at Abbasiya on 18th April 2008. The Unit Convener Mr. Vidhyadharan presided over the meeting wherein the renowned Doctor and much revered Neuro-Oncologist Mr. Dr. Ravindran and his wife Mrs. Geetha Ravindran were special guests.
Mr. Dr. Ravindran is one of the prominent force of Saradhi-Kuwait and he is due to repatriate back to India for good after his widely acclaimed official tenure in the State of Kuwait.
In honour of Mr. Dr. Ravindran for his unparalleled services to Saradhi-Kuwait we've rendered our warm felicitations and also presented him a Memento in the eve of his impending repatriation.
Mr. Adv.N.S. Aravindakshan (The Chairman, Saradhi Trust) welcomed the gathering and also elucidated on the contributions made by Mr. Dr. Ravindran to the entire Saradhi community in general and to its Hawalli Unit in particular. Felicitations were also poured in by Mr. Adv. Sasidhara Panikker, Mr. V.T. Sasi, Mr. P.R Sajeev, Mr. K.R Rajan and Mrs. Jayasree Panikker in the "Get-Together".
The unit Get-Together of this year has then had a moderate but sumptuous lunch to add colour to its grant-finale.
The Hawalli Unit herein record our sincere thanks and gratitude to Mr. Dr. Ravindran and Mrs. Geetha Ravindran for having graced our occassion on accepting our kind invitation. Many thanks are due to all of our Unit members and our beloved children for making this function a resounding success. The Unit always remain specially thanked to Mr. V.T. Sasi, Mr. N. Sasidharan (Central Executive Member, Saradhi-Kuwait), Mr. Mohan Das (Jt. Treasurer, Saradhi-Kuwait), Mr. K.K. Mohan (Secretary, Saradhi-Kuwait), Mr. Adv. K.S.Mahendra Kumar (Jt. Secretary, Hawalli Unit), Mr. K.R. Rajan and Mr. Adv. N.S. Aravindakshan for all their assistance to arrange this unit "Get-Together 2008".
