ഹവല്ലി യൂനിറ്റ് കുട്ടികൾ ഗുരുകുലം വാർഷിക വേദിയിൽ !!!!!
ഗുരുകുലം ഹവല്ലി യൂനിറ്റ് സെക്രട്ടറി സുദേവ് പാഠശാല ചരിത്രം ഗുരുകുലം വാർഷിക വേദിയിൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട സദസ്സിനു ഗുരുദേവ നാമത്തിൽ നമസ്കാരം !!! സാരഥി ഹവല്ലി യൂണിറ്റിന്റെ മലയാളഭാഷപഠനം 30/ 10/ 2009 ൽ ആരംഭിച്ചു .ആദ്യ ക്ലാസ്സ് ശ്രീമതി നിഷറ്റീച്ചറിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ആണ് തുടങ്ങിയത്. മലയാള ഭാഷാപഠനം , ഗുരുദേവ കൃതികളെപ്പറ്റി പഠിപ്പിക്കുക , ആർഷഭാരത സംസ്കാരത്തെ പ്പറ്റി യും ,ഹിന്ദു പുരാണങ്ങളും, ആചാരങ്ങളും പഠിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നിവയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം . തുടക്കത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന വിദ്യാർഥികൾ പലരും ഉപരിപഠനത്തിനു നാട്ടിൽ പോയി . ശ്രീമതി സിന്ധു ടീച്ചർ , സുശീലാ വിജയകുമാർ , ഷീജ രാജൻ , ശ്രീ വിഷ്ണു വിജയകുമാർ എന്നിവർ തുടർന്ന് ക്ലാസ്സെടുത്തു . സാരഥി കുവൈറ്റ് ഗുരുകുലം എന്നപേരിൽ കേന്ദ്രീകൃത വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പരിപാടി തുടങ്ങിയതു കൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങൾ സാൽമിയ യൂനിട്ടിനോട് ചേർന്ന് പഠനം തുടരുന്നു. ഇതുവരെയായി മലയാളഭാഷ എഴുതാനും വായിക്കാനും ഞങ്ങൾ പഠിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞു.ഗുരു ദേവനെപ്പറ്റി യും , ഗുരുക്രിതികലെപ്പറ്റി യും അറിയാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഒരുകാര്യത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിശ്വാസമുണ്ട് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ചേട്ടന്മാർക്കും ,ചേച്ചിമാർക്കും സ്വന്തം നാട്ടിൽ അന്യരെ പോലെ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടി വരില്ല. പ്രവാസികളായ നമ്മൾ നമ്മുടെ സംസ്കാരത്തെ മുറുകെപ്പിടിച്ചു മുന്നേറാൻ ഇതുമൂലം കഴിയുമെന്നു എനിക്ക് വിശ്വാസം ഉണ്ട്. ഗുരുകുലം പരിപാടി അതിനു കൂടുതൽ ഊർജ്ജം പകരുമെന്നുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ ചുരുക്കുന്നു . നമസ്കാരം !!!!!

JYOTHIRGAMAYA: An Academic Program by Padashala
Padashala is an informal stream of education conceived and managed by certain dedicated personalities of Hawalli Unit underthe guidance and supervision of Smt. Nisha Anoop. Padashala has its own master-plan,written curriculum and class timings. It has started in October 2009 andthereafter continued unabated on every intervening Fridays. Starting with Malayalam literacy, it progressed through imparting cultural education to a group of children of different age.
Showcasing Malayalam Saksharatha that the students mustered from Padashala classes were one of objectives of Jyothirgamaya. Through this unique vintage event, the children convincingly demonstrated their newly acquired Malayalam proficiency in writing and reading. Followed was a quiz competition based on Indian epics, principles and literary contributions of H.H.Sree Narayana Guru and general knowledge. Seven teams comprising of 14 students were competed in quiz. Alwin Vidyadharan and Rido Ramdas were the winners.
Next up held was an impressive curtain-raiser of Mahabharratha. The Padashala students distinctively introduced names of certain protagonists of the great Indian epic Mahabharatha followed by toddlers of Padashala brought in a plaque covered with a veil to the stage. The founder Chairman of Saradhi Trust Mr.Adv. N.S.Aravindkshan was invited to unveil the plaque which heralded an announcement that in Padashala the next syllabus to be studied is Mahabharata.
Numerous individual academic items like elocution, extempore, poem recitation and story-tellingwere performed by children of various units of Saradhi Kuwait. Jyothirgamaya culminated with recitation of Malayalam short-poems. Among which the most noted was the poem authored collectively by the children studying in Padashala. The subject of the poem was the Malayalam calendar months and its distinctive seasonal features.
Several prominent leaders of Saradhi Kuwait like its former president Mr. N. Sasidharan, founder chairman of Saradhi Trust Mr. Adv. N.S. Aravindakshan, former general secretary Mr. Deepak, Mr. Satheesan, Mr. Rajendren, the Unit Secretary, Mr. Mohan K.K., showered their profusesense of appreciation and blessings to Jyothirgamaya and to the children who were part of it. Huge turnout was there in Jyothitrgamaya cutting across different units of Saradhi Kuwait. The Teacher in Charge of Padashala Mrs. Nisha Anoop tendered vote of thanks to all those who have endeavored for the unprecedented success of Jyothirgamaya and to all those who blessed the occasion with their esteemed presence.

THE PUBLIC FUNCTION OF PADASHALA
The PADASHALA initiated by our Unit have successfully entered into its 3rd year imparting valuable education and training, to our children in various subjects like Malayalam literacy, religious fundamentals, principles, ideals and literary works of Gurudevan, sessions for nourishing the creative talents of children and various grooming trials to make them fit to face the current competitive world, etc., on no-pay no-fee basis.
During this 2 year period PADASHALA have covered some of the syllabus of its rich curriculum and the children are now proficient to read and write our mother tongue and also learnt the religious fundamentals and familiar with preachings and literary contributions of Guru.
The Parents Meeting held on Dec 23, 2011 was in this background and have decided the following:

- To organize a Public Function and to demonstrate our childrens' mother-tongue capabilities and the religious essentials that they have acquired through PADASHALA.
- The date tentatively will be on February 17, 2012 (subject to the availability of some school-auditorium).
- Mr. N. Sasidharan (our Ex-Convener) has chosen as the Program Convener and Committee Members were also chosen.
- Committee Members are: Vidyadharan, Vasudevan, Ramdas, Rajendran, Sudhin, Biju Bhaskaran, Sujan Prasad, Sajeev & Chandran.
- Womens' Wing of our Unit will also assist for the smooth and successful culmination of the function. They will be lead by Mrs. Sridevi Sudhin and Rema Vidydharan.
We now in search of a suitable TITLE for the above function of PADASHALA. As the proposed function is not just a presentation or debut of some art-forms but since its more of an academic function, the title 'Arangettam' may not seem ideal.
Therefore we INVITE your valuable suggestions. While suggesting TITLES please bear in mind that :
- It should convey the real message and character of the proposed function.
- Secondly the TITLE may be in Malayalam or Sanskrit.
The most befitting title will be amply rewarded.
We request every ones whole-hearted cooperation for the tremendous success of this unique endeavour

God Bless The New Weds...


Dr. Nicky Mohan, the
eldest daughter of Mr. K.K. Mohan and Mrs. Ponnamma Mohan, has been married to Dr. Vishnu
in a glittering wedding ceremony held at Pandalam, Kearla on November 07, 2011.
Mr. Mohan is our family member and a dedicated member of Saradhi Kuwait who have served our association at various levels including as our former unit secretary.In the holy-name of Gurudevan we congratulate Dr. Nicky Mohan and Dr. Vishnu . We Wish the couple all happiness, peace and success in the world..!

PICNIC-2011 :- REPORT & PHOTOS
The General Secretary of Saradhi-Kuwait Mr. Deepak Sadanandan flagged off the PICNIC-2011.
Morning session of the PICNIC-2011 was started off with two Topic-Presentations. Mrs. Rema Vidyadharan presented an insightful topic on Guru. Followed to this,was a very relevant medical subject on 'Diabetic-causes and care' by Mrs. Dr. Sheena Lalu. Both the subjects were mind-blowing and very informative for all. We congratulate both of our beloved members and putting on record our sincere gratitude and appreciation for their kindness for considering our request for the topic-presentations.
Aimed at moulding our youngsters and to contribute what all little for their personality development, we have organized group-wise elocution competitions on various subjects (viz., Should India Ban Endosulfan Completely-for class 8-10, All that glitters is not gold-for class 3 to 7 and My grandparents for LKG to Class 2). We made it compulsory participation for all Padashala students. The involvement of all the children were tremendous and they all made a commendable effort and some of them were truly outstanding.
For the little ones, we have organized Memory Contest. Kids enthusiastically participated in the contest. There came the games and fun-fillers for the ladies and gents and Mr. Nithin Ashok was the man of the hour. As expected, he had all the new varieties stored in his kitty. To mention quite a few, it consisted of 'Don't Mess With Me, Pick the Chickpea for ladies and gents, Lemon and Spoon, Spot Questions and Answers etc. We thank Mr. Nithin for the excellent conduct of various games and for playing a pivotal role for the success of the PICNIC-2011. Mr. Sajeev also taken his due part to stage some interesting items for the picnickers.
A sumptuous lunch and payasam were arranged for all, for a meager cost of KD 1. A quizzing session covering a wide range of topics including ideals and preaching of Guru, current affairs, science, general knowledge, politics etc were conducted for all including children. Mr. Adv. Sasidharapanikker and Mr. Sajeev then led the Adyakshari for the amusement of all.
At the fag end of the PICNIC-2011, 'vadamvali' were held for both gents and children. To pull the curtains down of an interesting day that too under the scorching sun, Raffle-draw were called in with 1st prize (Nokia C-3 Mobile with Wataniya line) sponsored by Mr. S. Chandran, 2nd prize (Vacuum Cleaner) sponsored by Mr. Adv. Mahendrakumar. Mr. Sajeev and Mr. Rajumon were the lucky winners of the raffle-draw.
Winners of all the events and games were awarded with suitable prizes. The winners were:- Elocution (Group A) - Jithin, (Group B)- Jyothy. Memory contest-Nischal, 'Don't Mess With Me'-Alwin Vidyadharan, 'Pick the Chickpea' for ladies-Nisha Anoop, 'Pick the Chickpea' for gents -Mahendrakumar, Quiz-Alwin Vidyadharan, Lemon and Spoon-Mrs Sandhya Mahendrakumar. Prizes were given away to all the children in Group C in elocution competition viz., Rishi Anoop, Keerthana and Sradha. Unit Secretary Mr. P.G. Rajendran tendered vote of thanks and the PICNIC-2011 has concluded with reciting Poornnamatha.
In fact the PICNIC-2011, in the present structure was an experiment. From all the feedbacks we understand that it was a resounding success. We now record our sincere gratitude and appreciation to one and all, more particularly, Mr. Chandran, Mr. Adv. Mahendrakumar, Mr. Adv. N.S. Aravindakshan, Mr. Balram and Mr. Adv. Sasidhara Panicker who have lent unflinching support by contributing all the essentialities that really help made this PICNIC-2011 an ever memorable one. We are also thankful to Mr. K.K. Mohan, Mr. Deepu and Mr. Vasudevan for the all the help, cooperation and guidance.
